We at LIVING CINEMA want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Annamarina & Michael had a wonderful event back in October. Their ceremony was held at the Wayfarers Chapel and their reception followed at a private estate in Palos Verdes overlooking the vast Santa Monica bay. We had the pleasure of producing one of our vignette inspired short films, packaged with the uncut wedding reel from the day. These films are beautiful and concise, bringing the entire wedding day together in a format that is both enjoyable and complete. The photographer for their event was Joel Austell and the event was produce by events by ricci.

Another event that was such a pleasure to work on was Melanie & Carlos’s wedding on October 25th. They had a beautiful sunset ceremony at the Hyatt Regency and Aaron Delesie shot the killer photographs. Check out their trailer.

It’s a bummer this post has taken me as long as it has, but just a little over a month ago we produced a film for an awesome couple. Heather & Chris’s wedding was held at the historic Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles. We had the pleasure of working with some of our most favorite people in the industry; Aaron Delesie shot the photographs, Kimberly Bradford and team produced the event and Square Root transformed the already opulent ballroom. Enjoy the short trailer.

The images from Courtney & Andrew’s wedding were given an amazing spotlight on Style Me Pretty.com Along with some great photographs, there’s also a tremendously insightful writeup by Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! Check out all four post here:

It was such a pleasure capturing Mary & Andy’s wedding at [seven-degrees] in Laguna Beach earlier this month. Kevin Covey produced a wonderful event and we got to work with the very talented Leigh Miller Photography. As well, Nisie’s Enchanted Florist came through with a one of a kind hanging floral arrangement as well as the rest of the amazing floral decor. Congratulations Mary & Andy.

We shot a beautiful film almost a month ago in the community of Emerald Bay located in Laguna Beach, Ca. Courtney and Andrew asked us to produce their wedding film in a combination of 16mm film and our High Definition digital cinematography formats, the result was stunning. We shot with both B&W, color reversal, and negative film to distinguish certain parts of the day with just the right look. We had the pleasure of working with the very talented Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! and we were introduced to the amazing photography of Lisa Franchot, who was a pleasure to work with. Check out this short film and hopefully we’ll be sharing more as their film nears completion.

It’s always fun when one of our client’s weddings is published in a magazine and this one is no exception. Ashley and Brandon were one of our stand-out clients of last year and it was so much fun working on their film. Check out their original blog posting and watch the short film we produced in the days following their wedding.

Back in August we were asked to produce a film for wonderful clients that held their event in the hills of Santa Barbara. When I say hills, it’s kind of an understatement, Day and Max’s ceremony was held on a mountain ridge with a 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding Santa Barbara countryside. Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! worked her “one of a kind” talent to produce both a colorful fiesta inspired rehearsal and a very organic, intimate wedding day. To top it all off, Aaron Delesie shot the editorial inspired photos. For Day and Max’s wedding film we used both a combination of our Digital Cinematography and the very classic and romantic 16mm film; which was mastered in High Definition.
