Two weeks ago I had the itch to get out of town and head to the desert. I thought that while I was heading to a town that oozes retro I would shoot some 16mm film to capture some of its well known character. The film was shot and processed in 16:9 and then outputted to High Definition to edit and encode for the web. The day before I arrived in Palm Springs there was some amazing thunder storms and I was able to get some beautiful shots of the clouds before they all moved on. Palm Springs.
