[seven-degrees] – October 10, 2008

It was such a pleasure capturing Mary & Andy’s wedding at [seven-degrees] in Laguna Beach earlier this month. Kevin Covey produced a wonderful event and we got to work with the very talented Leigh Miller Photography. As well, Nisie’s Enchanted Florist came through with a one of a kind hanging floral arrangement as well as the rest of the amazing floral decor. Congratulations Mary & Andy.

Emerald Bay – September 20, 2008

We shot a beautiful film almost a month ago in the community of Emerald Bay located in Laguna Beach, Ca. Courtney and Andrew asked us to produce their wedding film in a combination of 16mm film and our High Definition digital cinematography formats, the result was stunning. We shot with both B&W, color reversal, and negative film to distinguish certain parts of the day with just the right look. We had the pleasure of working with the very talented Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! and we were introduced to the amazing photography of Lisa Franchot, who was a pleasure to work with. Check out this short film and hopefully we’ll be sharing more as their film nears completion.

Ashley & Brandon – INSIDE Weddings

It’s always fun when one of our client’s weddings is published in a magazine and this one is no exception. Ashley and Brandon were one of our stand-out clients of last year and it was so much fun working on their film. Check out their original blog posting and watch the short film we produced in the days following their wedding.

Santa Barbara Weekend…

Back in August we were asked to produce a film for wonderful clients that held their event in the hills of Santa Barbara. When I say hills, it’s kind of an understatement, Day and Max’s ceremony was held on a mountain ridge with a 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding Santa Barbara countryside. Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming! worked her “one of a kind” talent to produce both a colorful fiesta inspired rehearsal and a very organic, intimate wedding day. To top it all off, Aaron Delesie shot the editorial inspired photos. For Day and Max’s wedding film we used both a combination of our Digital Cinematography and the very classic and romantic 16mm film; which was mastered in High Definition.
