Over the weekend we shot in one of my favorite cities to hang out in, Laguna Beach, CA. Rima & Iyad had a very intimate affair with some of their most cherished and loved family and friends at the Montage Resort and Spa. Rima had a very distinct vision for her wedding and she wanted to make sure that the film captured and exemplified that vision. We shot in beautiful Panasonic High Definition at 24 frames per second and accented the shoot with some Super 8mm. When shooting in High Definition, film is a wonderful tool to distinguish a portion of the wedding day or to add a little contrast to the overall film. On day two the wedding was followed up with a casual dinner reception at the exclusive Monarch Bay Club and the weekend finished up with tasty Sunday Brunch with homemade Lebanese cooking. Ira Lippke, who always adds a very creative flare, shot the photos. Kelly from Kelly Michelle Weddings wonderfully handled the event planning while White Lilac produced the event design and floral decor. *Sorry no film at this time per our clients’ request for privacy.*
