Charming English Wedding on Super 8

Across the pond in the rolling countryside of Hampshire, England, we met up with an amazing couple, Alicia and Jun. We had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with them enjoying English tea, taking a scenic barge trip to the local pub, and capturing their breathtaking wedding ceremony in the gardens of the Four Seasons, Hampshire, a former estate of Henry VIII. The weekend was perfect and their super 8 film offers just a small taste of the beautiful anthology that we’re creating for them.

A Historic Biltmore Santa Barbara Wedding

Talia & Aaron’s 16mm vignette was featured on Style Me Pretty not too long ago. I love all the little details and intimate moments captured between the two of them. Their day was delightful and full of loving family and friends and an honor to film.

An Intimate Affair

Carrie and Jayson’s wedding was one of a kind for us. It’s not very often that we get the chance to capture a wedding that consists a relaxed and intimate number of close family and friends, 18 to be exact. Their wedding was held at the one of a kind San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito and produced by the uber talented Alexandra Kolendrianos with floral by Flowerwild Designs.

Pelican Hill Wedding on Film

This is an update to an earlier post we did on a wedding we shot both in 16mm motion picture film and digital cinema at Pelican Hill – Newport Coast.  It is so amazing the moods and emotions that come across through different mediums.  I am such a fan of motion picture film and when it’s combined with the flexibility of digital cinematography, wonderful results occur.  This is a beautiful short film produced in a combination of Black & White and Color 16mm film at the beautiful Resort at Pelican Hill.

Romantic Pebble Beach Wedding

What an amazing weekend. We had the pleasure of heading up the coast to Pebble Beach to shoot Bianca & Micheal’s wedding at the beautiful Lodge at Pebble Beach. Their wedding took place on the scenic 18th hole with an expansive view of Carmel Bay.  As always, it’s a pleasure to work side by side with Ira Lippke and team.  Please enjoy the trailer and I can’t wait to share more as we continue to work on their film.
